The 2014 Spartan Experience – Sign Up Now!!

Don’t Miss the 2014 Spartan Experience

This summer in Pittsfield, Vermont the second Spartan Experience will be taking place. After the great experience last year, Alex Nicholas, Reebok Spartan Pro Team member and owner of Epic Hybrid Training, is putting together another full weekend of Spartan lifestyle.

This year, new coaches will be joining the group and range from elite female podium finisher Karlee Whipple, to Death Racer Mark Jones, and Reebok Spartan Pro Team members Miguel Medina, Hunter McIntyre, Kevin Donoghue, and other elite coaches. New obstacles are being planned and built for the experience to add to what was conquered last year, all while running/hiking up the infamous Death Race Stairs and mountainous trails on Joe De Sena’s private property.

In case that’s not enough, your weekend will also include learnings for race prep to healthy eating, cooking classes, guest speakers, lodging, and much more.  So mark your calendars for July 31st – August 3rd and enjoy a great weekend away and where Spartan Race began. Visit to see more details or just sign up now!

I’m a 31 yr old OCR enthusiast. By that, I mean I LOVE to partake in obstacle races and push myself as well as my times constantly. I've just started this year entering into Elite heats and competing against my times from last year. Also, since my first trifecta last season (VT Beast thank you!), I have a goal for three this season, including the Hawaii Trifecta Weekend. I currently live in NJ with my wife, who is becoming a GREAT Spartan racer, and dog. Outside of obstacle racing I am a huge hockey fan, so if you follow my Tweets, I apologize now for anything. I also enjoy many things digital. From upcoming sites, apps, and wearable technologies. I also am an avid buyer of obstacle type sneakers...sorry Stef (the wife).

  1. Hey Seth,
We have a lot in common. I’m addicted to running Spartan Races…I did 10 last year and earned my Trifecta. Like you, my goal this year is a Triple Trifecta. I love the discomfort, and the feeling of accomplishment when I finish a race. I feel even better knowing that at age 50, I can keep up with some of the younger participants.
My fiancée has started competing also, and she loves it. Like you I’m also a sneaker addict. And thanks to my fiancée I’m now a hockey junkie! Go Bruins.
I’m opening my own gym in Massachusetts next month, so I think I’m going to sign up for the Spartan Experience to learn some pointers and meet some of the founders and elite athletes of Spartan. Maybe I’ll see you at the NJ Super later this year.
