OCR in Mexico is relatively new! We have different races such as “RETO VIKINGO”, “CARRERA BRUTAL”, “CUATRO SEÑORIOS EL RETO”, “INFERNO RACE” to name a few, however if you are looking to compete Spartan Race is the only one that has an actual Elite Heat.
Carrera Brutal had one the last race, but it wasn’t divided into males and females, it was all against all, and winner took it all.
Rumor has it Tough Mudder will hit Mexico next year, offering races in Mexico’s main cities: Monterrey, Guadalajara and Mexico City.
Competing runs through my veins, and I wonder if Spartan Race will be the “king” of competitive OCR in Mexico. OCR just arrived to Mexico, so I guess that we will have to wait to see how other brands evolve.
