Rise of the Sufferfests is the first feature documentary about the obstacle race phenomenon. The film asks WHY – when the thrust of civilization has been to make life more comfortable – are the masses suddenly paying for pain. Legendary extremophile, Wim Hof, believes it’s because we are disconnected from our animal nature. Here’s a snippet from the interview we shot with “The Iceman” at his home outside of Amsterdam.
