Lizzie Smith has competed in several OCR races, as well as filming Ninja Warrior UK, all while living with Crohn’s Disease for the past 14 years.
It has been a challenge receiving on-going treatment for my Crohn’s Disease, working in a hospital and training for events, but I am determined to raise awareness and money for a disease that currently has no cure, but affects so many people.
I’m into my fitness anyway but doing the obstacle courses is something completely new to me, but I came in the top three at one of the races and have been chosen to represent England in the Netherlands.
