The first Spartan Race of 2017 has finished, and this was the first look anybody had at the new medals and a few new obstacles as well.
Next, came one of the new obstacles. TWISTER!!! The bars have rungs that are offset. As you grab one, the entire bar twists, and so it goes, all the way to the end, until you hit the bell. I watched a couple of people to study their technique. Some went across sideways, but the ones that went hand over hand seemed to have the most success. I made it five or six rungs before falling. I can’t wait to try this again.
