Highlight reel showing a recap of the Muscle Acres Winter Warmer race.
I get a little nervous going into a winter event, icy or not, about Race Directors’ use of water. I know there are a couple of notoriously wet winter races that require an immense amount endurance in continuous cold waters, which is fine for those who go in prepared. However, I don’t think those kinds of events need to be replicated throughout the winter. This is my opinion, of course, but I think that the majority of winter events should think carefully about the amount of water they include. After all, we don’t want to be on the edge of hypothermia every time we take part in a winter race… that stops being fun after a while.
