The 2016 edition of the Cetco Ythan Challenge in Scotland successfully raised over £11,000, which were donated to several local community groups.
Alison Chalmers, chairwoman of the event organising committee, said: “The Cetco Ythan Challenge has a history of giving the proceeds of each year’s race to local causes and it’s fantastic £11,000 is being shared among [these] groups. The event wouldn’t be the success it is without the help of our volunteers from a number of these groups.”
