New ‘mud run’ announced to replace cancelled Rocksolid race

A new race has been created on the same date as the recently cancelled Rock Solid race. The race will be only £10, however, racer’s shouldn’t excpect quite the same scale or variety of obstacles they would have had at Rock Solid.

The new event, which is not connected with Rocksolid, will include some obstacles such as mud runs, tyre and log carries, but will not be on the same scale as the Rocksolid obstacle course. But Mr Hardy said he was working with Escot and event organisers Devil Mud Run and Tuff Enuff UK to plan a major obstacle-style event for 2018. This year’s event will have a flat £10 entry fee.

Having received a call from the Escot estate I have an agreement with them to host a 5k & 10k mud run at Escot 25th March 2017 so that members of SWMF and those who purchased tickets for RS will not miss out entirely. “You will all have the opportunity to experience this fantastic park and the challenging terrain it provides. “Added to this, ourselves, Escot Park, and the guys at Devil Mud Run & Tuff Enuff UK are discussing the possibility of future larger scale events at this fantastic location.
