Register for the race and grab some passes to the festival for your biggest fans! The Great Race is one of the only racing events that you can make a whole day of for your family and friends! During the day is a full program from outdoor yoga to the only karaoke where the audience sings the classic racing tunes, mini- courses for the kid’s. Then the festival kicks in at 12:00 with live music, craft brews, food trucks! Tickets* will be $15 at the gate, so get them now while you can save a bundle! All kids 12 and under are admitted for free!

When And Where

May 14th at The Kentucky Horse Park located at 4089 Iron Works Pkwy, Lexington, KY 40511. Races take place from 8am-1pm and the Festival will begin directly after the awards ceremonies! The fest lasts all day.

For the Family

Grab the kids, pack the strollers and come on out for a day filled with family fun! Activities will include kite flying, mini-races, arts & crafts, karaoke, inflatables, and more so your kids can have as much fun as you!

Parking

Parking for the Great Day is free. Find the entrance map “Here”. There will also be parking attendants to direct you where to park.

Things to know

Just because you’re not racing doesn’t mean you can’t come watch the races! Bring a lawn chair and some binoculars. Come hungry and ready for a one of a kind experience!
