Our behavior, habits, and even our thoughts are dramatically different when we identify as couch potatoes than they are when we identify as athletes. The labels we identify with define the stories we tell ourselves and others about who we are. Simply put, the more of your identity you invest in a given story, the harder you will work to make the story come true, and the less you’ll let distractions get in the way of this.
