OCR America is a 7 day 26.2 mile a day OCR journey occurring between June 19 and June 25.  Strength & Speed owner, CTG Pro Team Member and Hammer Nutrition Sponsored athlete Evan Perperis will be running a marathon length OCR course every day for seven days in a row by multi-lapping various obstacles course sites across America.  Each day occurs at a different site across the US.  He is inviting you to join him on this journey for one or more laps

The goal of OCR America is threefold:

1. Raise money for children of US Military veterans that were killed or wounded in combat overseas through the charity Folds of Honor.
2. Raise the publicity and awareness for Obstacle Course Racing.
3. A personal challenge.

Day 5 occurs at Newbsanity Extreme Ravine.

About the Course:  Mother nature’s fury is on display with punishing uphills, technical downhills, and an all natural showcase obstacle. This obstacle is “Extreme Ravine” itself! Competitors navigate around huge rocks and fallen logs as they run up the heart of the ravine before using ropes to drag themselves 40ft to the top of the cliff’s edge. In addition to what mother nature can dish out be ready for Newbsanity obstacles that will test your strength, endurance and nerves.

-This event is heavier on the trail running over uneven terrain and has less obstacles than the previous day

-Cheapest entry fee for any day of OCR America with prices starting at $25

-Bathrooms and rinse off station will be available

-Newbsanity stickers will be available

-Newbsanity merchandise will be available for purchase on site

Of note, when you sign up for a specific wave time that is an approximate time.  Depending on the conditions and situation day of the race, the actual wave start time might vary by 30 minutes in either direction.
