Your First Mud Run is the ONLY mud run in the country designed so both parents and kids can run together!

Our courses are 1.5 – 2 miles and includes 10 – 16 obstacles that are designed for adults and kids. If you ever thought about doing a mud run, ours is the perfect “first timer” event! Anyone 6 years old and up can participate in the fun! We are the largest “family friendly” and “first timer” Mud Run in the country!

FAQ’S

Can kids participate?
Our course is designed for the whole family. Kids AGES 6 AND UP can participate with their parents and kids under 13 must be accompanied by a legal parent or guardian who is a paid participant of the race and runs the entire race with them. Everyone in the race must be a paid registrant. Kids must register the same as their parents.

What is the difference between a family wave and an adult wave?
– The family wave is designed for beginners and kids who are running with their parents. All children under 13 should be in a family wave.
– The adult wave is designed for those who want to run competitively. Adult wave runners should be age 13 +.
What if I cannot complete an obstacle?
If you can’t complete an obstacle you can simply skip it and move on with the race.
Do I need to sign an additional waiver for me and my kids?
Yes, please click here to download the waiver and please print and fill out one for each adult and child competing.
Will the race be timed?
We did timing in the past, but our 2016 races will not be timed. However, we will give out awards for the top finishers of each wave.

Why is there an administration fee?
The administration fee helps us offset some of the costs of putting on the event. We don’t like to nickel and dime you for $10 to park, $5 for bag check and other fees that most races collect at the event. So instead we roll them into one administration fee which ultimately becomes cheaper for you! Every mud run has these fees and we try to keep ours much lower than those you’ll typically get at other obstacle/mud run races. The fee also allows for a smoother process on race day (no cash needed) and also allows us to give a greater portion to charity. See our “charitable work” page to see the charities we have been working with. The fee is broken down as follows:

1. $2.50 for parking – this fee equates to a bit less than most other races because the average car will have 2.5 competitors and the average fee for parking is $7.50.
2. $2.50 for bag check – this fee is essentially equal to just about every other event out there as the average bag check is $5 and the average number of people per bag check is two.
3. $5 for insurance – this fee is quite a bit less than most other races as we are actually absorbing most of the insurance fee. This is an incredibly important fee as we strive to make our race the safest event anywhere!

4. $2 facilities fee – this fee allows us to host at great facilities. We host our events at very convenient locations and we are always making sure we have enough necessities like event staff and bathrooms.

5. $.75 + 2.5% – this is a fee that we don’t get. It is assessed by our “registration hosting” site. EVERY race has this fee, but we worked ours down to save you money as many others will have a rate as high as $1.25 and/or 3.5%. We use one of the best “registration hosting” sites in the world, which makes online registration very easy!

6. $0 spectator fee – Many races are now starting to charge for spectators. We will never charge that fee, as we want our event to be the most spectator friendly race anywhere and allow for for a ton of interaction between the spectators and competitors. So tell all your friends to come and cheer you on!
*Keep in mind you can always offset some of this cost by taking advantage of our discounts. When you checkout make sure to post on social media for $2 off. Also, we offer great discounts for groups of five or more, so let us know before you register and we can set you up with a discount code.
