Protein 101: How Much Do You Really Need?

Your exercise and diet must evolve in tandem. Changes in one will force you to modify the other if you are to maintain an overall and long-term equilibrium within your body. For instance, if you are exercising more, you are sweating more. If you are sweating more, then your sodium intake needs to be increased because of your increased sodium output. But only if you are not already eating too much sodium. See: Sodium 101.

Likewise, if you are exercising more, you are using your muscles more. Maybe you are exercising more than you ever have? Maybe just starting to exercise, you will be exercising more than you ever have?
